[Spouses] clergy and spouses on the move

Dear One and All,
Will and I thought about you all today as we have all "been there".  For some of you today was the first Sunday in a new parish and for others too, a New Beginning as each conference year assures us.  I certainly did like seeing those of you who were at conference at Clear Branch UMC.The cookies and conversation at conference worked well and so many of you contributed the cookies and they were a huge success. This provided yet another opportunity for us to meet and greet and yes, some of you who came had not been able to come to other Clergy Spouse events so glad this worked for you. The Clergy Spouse Retreat will be October 12 and 13 this year at Sumatanga so mark you calendars now and we will again have a Spring Luncheon so will let you know about that date later. I am sure I speak for Cabinet Spouses who want to know what would  be helpful in your districts so please let them know   suggestions of ways you can stay in touch with each other.
Stay cool, pray for rain and have a restful and restorative summer. We continue to enjoy visiting you in the churches you  are serving so I know I will see some of you on Sundays this  summer at least.
